Maynard’s
Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes, it’s inevitable that some of the best patio dining is on the water. Located on the legendary and always popular Lake Minnetonka, Maynard’s gives customers a traditional Minnesota feel with “Maynard’s Wharf,” a popular spot for hot summer days. As The Wharf is situated on Excelsior Bay and features outdoor seating near docks where patrons can park their boats. Maynard’s is a favorite spot for boaters on the lake to find food. Maynard’s also features live music sponsored by Cities97 on Thursday nights throughout the summer.
Brit’s
Brit’s Pub is an iconic hotspot for summer days. Located in the heart of Minneapolis on Nicollet Mall, Brit’s third floor rooftop has ample outdoor seating as well as a full lawn for different games. The lawn also offers a very unique way to be outside with green space in the compact downtown area. Customers flock to Brit’s throughout the summer for lawn bowling tournaments and festivities. Brit’s is one a few locations in the metro to televise European rugby and soccer matches, creating an atmosphere surrounding the games with plenty of fans.
Pinstripes
Edina’s Pinstripes bowling alley and restaurant has one of the most unique patio locations in the Twin Cities. Pinstripes’ large patio offers their full lunch and dinner menu with a view overlooking Centennial Lakes Park. The patio features a beautiful view of the manmade lake and the rolling hills of the mini golf course. What sets Pinstripes apart however isn’t the view, bowling, or the food, but the outdoor bocce ball courts on the patio. Bocce ball gives patrons an activity to create a fun and memorable experience.
