In the week of January 26-February 1, the BSM boys’ hockey team squared off against two conference rivals in Bloomington Kennedy and Chanhassen. Senior captain Mark Kaske shone in both of the Red Knight performances as he scored two goals against Kennedy in a 6-1 win and then a hattrick in the 6-0 win as the team shutout Chanhassen. “Mark had a great week for us. He always gets a ton of chances and it’s a great thing for our team that those chances are starting to go into the net,” coach Ken Pauly said. Because of his proven talent and remarkable performances during the week, Kaske has rightfully been awarded BSM’s Athlete of the Week for January 26-February 1.
