The Knightettes competed in an invite event called the Best of the Best at the University of Minnesota on Friday, January 9 . Best of the Best is a yearly performance, consisting of teams from all over the midwest including dancers from high school to college age. As a showcase dance, the dance team performed alongside the best high school and college teams from states North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

Following this performance, the Knightettes attended a meet at Henry Sibley on Saturday, January 10. The team won first place in each division. “We took the win for JV Jazz, JV Kick, Varsity Jazz, and Varsity Kick – it was a clean sweep,” senior Kendel Malcolm said.
