Girls’ Basketball upset by Holy Family
Coming off of a 85-60 win over Mound-Westonka in the section quarterfinal, the Red Knights were eliminated from the playoffs with a 66-61 loss to Holy Family. The Fire took a five point lead into halftime and built their lead to double-digits early in the second. Behind, a furious comeback, the Red Knights tied the game with three minutes left, but Holy Family made their free throws at the end of the game to seal the upset. Senior guard Grace Coughlin scored 26 points to lead the Red Knights and junior Gretchen Sattler scored 11 points including three three-pointers. The Red Knights were the North Suburban Conference champions and finished the season with a record of 21-7.
