Recently the music department chose the members to be a part of the BSM’s All Conference Choir. Twelve students were selected due to their exceptional vocal qualities, music reading ability and overall musicianship. “The choir teachers decide who is in all conference choir based on who knows the music and is most dedicated to the activity,” Annie Dillon, junior and choir member, said.

Because of cold weather causing numerous school closings, the choir’s performances were cancelled without a definite reschedule. “Most years, we rehearse all day on a Friday and then go back on Monday after school to get ready to perform that night. This year, though, the performance was cancelled because the school that was hosting canceled school that day. It hasn’t been rescheduled yet,” Dillon said.
