On Tuesday, October 8, the boy’s cross country team took part in the Mankato East Invite at Minnehaha Golf Course in Mankato. The boys had one of their best runs of the season taking home fifth place. “Mankato is a very fast course, and we usually visit it later in the year when its a lot colder, so generally the advantages of a low cut grass is weighed out by the fact that it is very cold,” said junior Colin Sheeley. The boys’ next race is on Wednesday, October 16 at the Rum River South Country Park in Anoka for the North Suburban Conference championship.
