The Benilde-St. Margaret’s Red Knights returned to action with a non-conference matchup against Class AA No. 5 Edina. The Hornets’ Lara Boman scored in the only goal in the first half and Edina took a 1-0 lead into halftime. Red Knights’ senior captain Kelly Pannek evened the score at one with a header in the second half, but Boman scored her second goal of the game with three minutes remaining to solidify a Hornet’s victory. The Red Knights fall to 5-2-1 on the season and will face conference foes Columbia Heights and Totino-Grace this upcoming week.
