After starting the 2013 season with a win against Chisago Lakes, the Benilde-St. Margaret’s Volleyball team faced section rival Orono in an early season matchup. The game was played in the Great Hall due to the heat to provide a cooler environment for players and fans during the match.

The Red Knights had last year’s season ended by the Spartans when they were swept in the Section 6AAA quarterfinals. This year was no different as the Spartans swept the Red Knights winning by scores of 16-25, 19-25, and 13-25, respectively. The Red Knights will return to action when they host the Southwest Lakers on Thursday August 29.
