Alex Peck, who graduated from BSM in 2010, has recently been able to combine his love for art, culture, and adventure to establish Peace Action Apparel. This non-profit organization sells t-shirts designed by Peck. With each shirt sold, Peace Action Apparel will donate 10% of the proceeds to a various organization to solve problems around the world. orphanages, world peace organizations, world hunger organizations, etc.
The newest collection of shirts being sold by Peace Action Apparel, feature drawings from children at Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos. “My older sister [former Red Knight, Rachael Peck] has been working there for the past two years. When I went down to visit my sister I got to see some of the kids’ artwork and just knew they would make great t-shirt designs,” Peck said.
Peck is planning on continuing this business venture. “I’m studying to become a pilot, and as a pilot I will be able to continue this business on an international scale. It just feels right. I’m really enjoying the work that I’m doing,” Peck said.
Peck’s shirt line sells online and in boutique stores around the Minneapolis metro area.
