After suffering an 11-4 loss to St. Francis, the Red Knights recovered and defeated the 17th-ranked Edina Hornets 3-2. Junior Keaton Studsrud drove in two of the Red Knights three runs and junior Sam Lynch went 3-for-3 at the plate. Junior Jimmy Cron picked up his second consecutive win allowing just two runs on four hits. The Red Knights scored in the first inning to take a 1-0 lead, but the Hornets countered in the third scoring their only two runs. In the bottom of the fifth, the Red Knights scored two runs on four hits to take a 3-2 lead, which was held onto by the Red Knights. The team improves to 4-3 on the season and will play Chisago Lakes in a doubleheader to start off a week where the team is scheduled to play a game everyday.
