After building a two-game winning streak, the Red Knights were unable to defeat the Irondale Knights, falling by a score of 52-46. Both team’s offenses struggled in the first half, but strong defense gave the Red Knights a 23-18 led going into halftime. Irondale responded during the second half and came back to take a lead going into the last few minutes of the game. The Red Knights went cold the last few minutes and were unable to keep pace with Irondale, handing the Red Knights a 52-46 loss. Irondale’s Jack Martinek led all scorers with 24 points and sophomore guard Jayson Edwards led the Red Knights with 13 points. The Red Knights fall to 4-4 in conference play.
