The girls varsity basketball team played against and defeated Chisago Lakes on Friday, January 25 by one point; 46-45. This was a crucial win for the girls; Chisago’s girls were up at the half by 10 points, but in the second half the BSM girls took command. They scored 21 points in the second half while Chisago scored only 10, securing the win for the Red Knights. “This was a crucial win for us, and it was stressful all the way through the game. We knew we had to step it up for the second half so we can win,” junior Liz Nicholson said.
