On January 8, both Knowledge Bowl teams placed in competition at Holy Angels. The first team, composed of seniors Nolan Ahlm, Jimmy Borin, Sam Meshbesher, and Daniel Letscher as well as junior Ryan Kelly, place sixth out of 49 teams. The second team consisting of Danny Cawood, Noah Kincs, Kiley Petersen, Kayla Randall, and Alex Burnett, placed 12th out of the 49 teams. This was the first competition since their Christmas Invitational. With half of the team being seniors, advisor Mr. Tom Backen has high hopes for the team this season. “Our goal is conference champs,” Mr. Backen said. The conference meet is at BSM on Tuesday, February 19.
