“Halo” has turned out to be the most popular game among BSM students this year. “Halo 1,” also known as “Halo: Combat Evolved,” first launched back in 2001 on Microsoft’s Xbox and evolved into a multi-billion dollar game franchise.
Although producing newer, slicker, and faster versions such as the latest Halo 4, available since November 2012, the original release did not lose all of its popularity and can easily be downloaded onto laptops. The thrill of blasting away other Spartan enemies and riding Banshees and Warthogs still exists. Even with the outdated graphics, Halo provides smooth movements and multiplayer option for students to compete and fight with each other.
