The boys’ basketball team started the new year off right with a 60-51 win over the Totino-Grace Eagles. The Red Knights jumped out to a 18-2 lead over the Eagles to start the game, but Totino-Grace reduced the lead to 27-21 going into halftime. Both teams battled each other in the second half, but in the end the Red Knights finished with a 60-51 win and their first conference victory. The Red Knights got 13 points from both senior Sam Hafermann and junior Nick Birney, many coming from three-pointers. The Red Knights next game will be on the road against conference rival Spring Lake Park.
