After a blowout loss to Chaska, the Red Knights returned strong against the Waconia Wildcats. Even though the Red Knights lost, it was a strong performance by the team against a favorite to win the state tournament. After the first half, the Red Knights trailed by four to the Wildcats, but Waconia opened up the lead late and was too much for the Red Knights to overcome, losing 59-47. Senior Ryan Boll led the Wildcats with 13 points and sophomore Jayson Edwards led the Red Knights with 12 points.
