In their first matchup against each other this season, the girls’ hockey team dominated the Irondale Knights, scoring five goals in the second period en route to an 8-0 shutout on Friday, December 21. Senior defender Liv Halvorson and junior forward Caitlin Reilly both tallied a goal and an assist, while junior goaltender Abbey Miller blocked all 12 shots she faced. The team looked strong in all facets of the game, particularly the penalty kill, killing off all three penalties they faced. The win continues to add team confidence as they improve to 11-0.
