The girls defeated Southwest 65-53 on Saturday, Dec. 8. They were confident going into the game, even though they did not play to their abilities the night before. Despite the lack of fans in attendance, the girls still had the momentum they needed to win the game. “This was the first game that every single varsity player got playing time, which was exciting,” captain Grace Coughlin said. The girls were up by nine at the half and continued the pull away, winning by 12.
