Bastille – “Sleepsound”

British band Bastille released their Overjoyed EP in April of this past year. This EP features the band’s more popular song “Overjoyed,” but it also features “Sleepsong,” a pop/alternative track that becomes immediately addictive after the first listen. “Sleepsong” has a sound that is slightly reminiscent of something The Wombats might sing, but with a more unique, electronic sound that keeps you stuck on YouTube looking up all of Bastille’s other music. Overall, it’s an amazing track that proves Bastille is the latest British act to watch out for.
