Junior Mike Ryan donates blood in the Memorial Blood Drive, hosted twice a year by BSM’s National Honor Society.
BSM National Honor Society students hosted the first of the biannual Memorial Center Blood Drive on November 7. In order to give blood students must be 16, of a certain height and weight, and free of sickness. Around 50 BSM students donated blood to Memorial Blood Center. With the help of NHS members who organized and recruited blood donors, BSM was able to provide a lot of blood for those in need. “We filled every slot we had to donate blood this year,” senior blood drive co-chair Luke Musech said.
