The Red Knights swept the Spring Lake Park Panthers in three straight sets for their first win at home. Throughout the entire first set the score was close, but with a few aces from various players and kills from senior captain Sara Taffe, the Red Knights pushed for the win. The set went into extra points, with a final score of 27-25. The second set win was achieved through team aces and kills, several from sophomore Peri Warren. “We put the ball away,” Warren said. The set was won 25-16. The final set started off from a floor-pounding kill from junior Leah Nightingale and from there the team made the victory look easy. “I do believe our team is doing really well. We are definitely on our way to state,” Warren said.
