Junior Bailey Forcier committed to play Division I girls’ lacrosse for George Washington University on Tuesday, May 29. Forcier, who has played as a Red Knight since freshman year, and has been on varsity since sophomore year, also plays for the Minnesota girls’ elite team, the Lakers. Colleges began showing interest in Forcier after her first tournament as a Laker in June of 2011. The decision to commit to play for the Colonials came easy to Forcier after meeting the team. “I really liked the team and they were all really close. Also, I have a friend going there next year to play lacrosse, so that made the choice easier,” said Forcier.
