The baseball team defeated the Irondale Knights in a low-scoring game on Friday, May 4, by a score of 2-0. Senior pitcher Marcus Barone threw a complete game shutout, while the Irondale pitcher kept the Red Knights from scoring until the fifth inning. Runs by junior John Backes and senior Jimmy Heck late in the game clinched the win, keeping the Red Knights at the top of the North Suburban Conference.
