Baseball team holds St. Francis scoreless

The baseball team rebounded from their loss versus Hopkins, defeating the St. Francis Fighting Saints on Thursday, April 19 by a score of 5-0. This is the second team that the Red Knights have held scoreless this year. “They are a good hitting team and holding them scoreless is a good confidence builder for our squad,” said senior pitcher Willie Falk. Pitcher Jimmy Heck threw 10 strikeouts, and junior John Backes hit 3 RBI, game highs in each category. The team’s next game is against Wayzata at home on Saturday, April 21.
