The BSM boys’ hockey team was invited to Archbishop Nienstedt’s private residence on Monday, April 24. Nienstedt gave the hockey team a private mass in his chapel near the Cathedral and afterward, served them lunch at his home. “I suspect [Archbishop Nienstedt] is a big hockey fan because he has invited other teams down there in the past, like Hill-Murray,” said Head Coach Ken Pauly. This, along with all the publicity surrounding Jack Jablonski and the way the BSM community rallied behind is why Pauly thinks they were invited to meet with him.
