The girls’ basketball team’s 11 game wining streak team came to an end when they lost to DeLaSalle 70-54 on Tuesday, Feb. 8. Despite holding the Islanders’ star Allina Starr to only 6 point, the Red Knights still gave up their highest point total of the year. A sloppy first half with many turnovers contributed to a large deficit at halftime, from which the Red Knights were unable to recover. The team hopes to rebound from this loss at home against St. Louis Park on Friday, Feb. 10.
