Facing a conference opponent for the first time this season, the boys’ hockey team overcame an early deficit to beat the Totino-Grace Eagles 6-2 on Thursday, Dec. 15 at the Parade Ice Garden. The Red Knights fell behind early off of a goal from Totino’s Andrew McDonald. However, BSM tied the game nine minutes later when senior forward Christian Horn buried a pass from senior forward Jake O’Borsky. From there the Red Knights would go on to score three more unanswered goals. The Eagles scored late in the second, but BSM answered right back with a goal of their own, topping off the scoring with just over a minute left in the third period. Senior goaltender Anders Jecha got the win, and six different Red Knights had two or more points, including junior forward Grant Besse, who leads the team with 20 points.
