The game between two of the state’s top teams lived up to expectations Friday, Dec. 16, as the boys’ basketball team took down number one Hopkins 76-71. The Red Knight fans were in full force from the start and helped their team get ahead by 12 at the end of the first half. The game turned into a nail-biter after Hopkins caught up to BSM midway through the second half. After multiple lead changes between teams, BSM finally sealed the victory with clutch free throws from seniors Isaiah Zierden and Will Dunn. As the buzzer sounded, Red Knight fans flooded the court, excited to see their team emerge victorious.
