On Tuesday Dec. 6, Mr. Fran Roby, guidance counsellor, and a group of Knightlife seniors––Emma Eldred, Robby Sutherland, Ryan Lawyer––organized a way to inform students about the dangers of distracted driving and driving under the influence. The group brought in a model of a wrecked car that was in an ‘under the influence’ accident to demonstrate the dangers that can occur. The seniors convinced students to sign a petition pledging not to drive under these conditions. “Hopefully after signing the petition students will think before making poor decision while on the roads,” said Sutherland.
