What should have been a difficult game against the Minnetonka Skippers turned out to be quite a route as the Red Knights came away with a 6-0 win Saturday, September 17. The Red Knights took a quick lead with a goal from senior midfielder Johnny Mulvahill, assisted by senior defensman Paul Graupner, in the eighth minute of the game. By half time, the Red Knights had five points against what they had hoped to be formidable opponent (Minnetonka had also tied #3 ranked 2A Eden Prairie). In the second half, the scoring was kept to just one more goal for the Red Knights, but they were able to hold the shutout, boosting their record to 8-0-1.
