On most days, homerooms half-heartedly listen to morning announcements, but on Friday, Sept. 9, all ears focused on Dr. Skinner’s voice as she announced the twelve senior nominees for 2011 Homecoming King and Queen. The king nominations are Kale Walch, Reilly Dillon, Sanjay Lumpkin, John Worley, Thomas Gilligan, and Brendan Schember. For queen, the nominees are Taylor Kenyon, Kate Hinkens, Allie Ison, Grace Ronning, Leila Aboussir and Katie Cashman. Winners will be announced Monday, Sept. 26, during homeroom at Coronation where Sarah Ehlen and Theo Merriam will be emceeing.
