Coming off a victory against Robbinsdale Cooper on Senior Night, the girls’ varsity lacrosse team suffered an 8-12 loss against Cretin-Derham Hall on May 20. Tied 4-4 at halftime, the Red Knights struggled to defend themselves against Cretin-Derham Hall’s high-powered offense, as they scored nine goals in the second half. “We almost shut down their best player, but their offense was good,” said junior defender Lauren Waldon. As this was the girls’ lacrosse team’s last regular season game, the Red Knights move into sections with a 6-7 record.
