The girls’ basketball team beat Cooper on February 25, winning with a score of 58 to 49. This victory secured the Red Knights as the conference champs, and they play Tuesday March 1 in the first round of sections. “[This victory] shows us that we can pull out the win even through the closeness and intensity the game got to be. We pulled together as a team to come out with the win and a conference championship. And it just gives us the boost and confidence for going into sections in the next couple of weeks,” said captain Sarah Kopp.
