With the temperature at -3 degrees, the BSM nordic ski team placed second in the Classic Nordic Ski race on January 4 . “We definitely did better in this race than the one on December 18,” said sophomore captain Haley Jerabek. “We beat two other teams than the previous meet, and in this race we had two new skiers, both in the junior high, Matt Paal and Amanda Kautzer, who stepped up to the plate.” With this success, the nordic ski team pushes through to keep up with their competitors.
