Sophomore forward Grant Besse led the boys’ hockey team to their second victory over the Hill-Murray Pioneers on December 5. The Red Knights took the lead in the first period when senior Chris Flood tipped a shot by junior Jake Horton past the Pioneers’ goaltender. Grant Besse gave the Red Knights a 2-0 lead 26 seconds into the second period and they never looked back. Junior goaltender Anders Jecha stopped 22 of the 23 shots earning his second win of the season. “It was a lot to fun to beat Hill-Murray, especially because they’re a top 10 team,” said senior captain Patrick Daly.
