Violent winds and heavy snow nearly destroyed a sentimental piece of BSM as the wooden cross hanging before the front entrance fell to the ground. For the past ten years, this cross has greeted students upon their entrance to school, but on Thursday, December 2, the support cables finally gave out. The maintenance staff worked to mend and rehang the fundamental artifact in a matter of days in order to keep BSM’s history alive.
