On September 21, seniors Meredith Lawlor and David Tranvik became royalty as they received the titles of Homecoming King and Queen. Beating out seven other senior boys and seven other senior girls, Sir David and Lady Meredith were crowned among cheers from the crowd. The whole school voted on the candidates nominated by the senior class and as nominees walked/danced down the runway to music of their choice, students cheered for their favorites. After the coronation the nominees were taken to breakfast at Byerly’s cafe.
