The President’s Student Service Award forms will be in Ms. Lenhart-Murphy’s office for students who have completed 100 hours of service in a year.
The award is to recognize students who have participated in service that has had a significant impact on their local communities. “I think it’s important for students to volunteer because it broadens their understanding of the world and gives them real world experiences,” said Ms. Lenhart-Murphy. “It allows them to be a positive influence in their community.”
Applications are due Wednesday, May 14 by 3 p.m.
