This weekend is museum-goers last chance to view the collection of renowned photographer JoAnn Verburg. Through April 20 the Walker Art Center will be housing the exhibition, Present Tense, which includes over 70 photographs and videos, spanning over her 25-year career. The collection features a variety of subjects from portraits, to still lifes and landscapes. Verburg is known for her use of multiple photographs in one piece of artwork. By placing photos next to one another she adds dimension while maintaining each photo’s clarity and creates unity throughout the piece. While visiting be sure to pick up a catalogue of Verburg’s work made available at the exhibition set up in the Friedman Gallery.
