Knight Errant

Karen Valde
Sitting in her armchair with her crochet needle in hand, the television blares the Spanish channel. With her free times she practices her Spanish skills. She does so by going up to complete strangers repeating what she heard on the show that day. She has no idea what she is repeating. Besides making a fool of herself by Spanish speaking she enjoys collecting stamps. They bring a sense of joy to her that know no can explain (she can’t even explain it herself). In the future, she hopes to increase the world’s education of stamps and the importance of them. She is currently writing a novel to be released this time next year.
