Alexia Saavedra: the vegan, the yogi, the travel loving scholar. When she’s not looking for new vegan options at your local co-op, you can find her binge watching her new favorite show, Scandal. She spends a large chunk of her time nannying and getting caught up on the newest fashions. With a vibrant personality, contagious laugh, and consistency to overjoy those around her, Alexia has been known as the following: “a great friend, classmate, and coworker.” When she is fatigued from school work, volunteering, and nannying, Alexia decides to slow down and take a nice, long nap. When sleeping just doesn’t match Alexia’s mood, she decides to either meditate, write in her journal, or listen to calming music. Her talents are endless and continue to surprise her peers and fellow writers as she embarks upon her senior year or more importantly her first semester of Journalistic Writing.
