Knightsbridge Boutique is a tradition that BSM has been occurring for seven years. This year the event was held on Saturday, November 17 from 10 to 3 Knightsbridge Boutique was held at BSM in the Haben Center.
Each year, merchants come from all over to and sell their items. This year, shoppers found loads of individual and unique pieces varying from makeup, clothing, signs and many more handmade goods. There was definitely a piece for all. Junior Sydni Dailey who attended Knightsbridge was impressed with the event this year. “It was very well organized and the variety of vendors was great,” Dailey said.
Beautycounter, a skincare and makeup company who makes beauty products with safe ingredients, was one of the vendors this year. This was Beautycounter’s second year attending Knightsbridge, and this year, they were offering the opportunity for the shoppers to test their products and have makeup applied. The customer simply needed to sign up for a fifteen minute time slot. Asia, a consultant for Beautycounter, was very happy to add this beauty enhancement. “It was great how everyone we meet really embraced Beautycounter and was excited to learn more! I was happy people weren’t afraid to sit down for a few minutes to receive a bit of pampering,” Asia, who declined to give her last name, said.
Beyond what the merchants were selling, buyers had the opportunity to purchase a Knightsbridge wristband for ten dollars. When the customer purchased the wristband, they were entered in a raffle to win a basket filled with exclusive items from the vendors.
By purchasing goods at Knightsbridge, buyers contribute to the BSM Parent Association, which helps arrange social events and raise money for the school. It also welcomes new families, celebrates our faculty and staff and provides speakers for parents and students.
