It isn’t hard to tell that Jacinda and Bert, our token freshman couple “like like” each other.

Bert and Jacinda

Knight Errant: How long have you been dating?

Berthel Olsen: About a month.

KE: How did you meet?

BO: Through free hour. It ramped up when the girls soccer team was at state.

Jacinda Smith: Yeah it just kind of happened.

KE: What’s your favorite thing about each other?

JS: He’s really nice to people and he really makes my day.

BO: She makes my day. She’s a great listener and very beautiful. She’s just a fun person to be around.

KE: What animal describes your relationship?

JS: Like a cat. Sometimes they’re vicious.

BO: I’d say like a bear. They’re cute and cuddly, but when you piss them off they get angry. And Yogi Bear resembles my stupidity.

KE: What is the main thing you fight over?

JS: I don’t know.

BO: I annoy her a lot on purpose.

JS: It pisses me off.

KE: What is your restaurant of choice for a date?

BO: Perkins.

JS: Benihana.

KE: What was your worst date?

BO: We haven’t had one. Moana was bad, though. Dumb movie.

JS: It was good.

KE: What do your parents think of your S.O.?

JS: My parents like him.

BO: My dad really likes her. My mom is hard to read, and she comes off like she doesn’t like her but she does.

KE: Who settled in this relationship?

JS: I didn’t.

BO: I can’t answer that question.

KE: Do you think your S.O. is the “one”?

JS: No.

BO: We’re 14 and 15. It’s a little soon.
