Dogfest is a wonderful annual tradition at BSM to celebrate students’ dogs. On Wednesday, April 6, twenty dogs and their owners gathered in the Commons for one hour of play time.

Run by Spanish Teacher Ms. Katie McDonald and the Student Council, Dogfest allows dog owners to showcase their pets. “The dogs are super cute and friendly, and it’s fun to watch them interact with each other,” executive president Peter McCague said.

After all the dogs got to know each other, the friendly competition began. Every dog got to do one trick, and a panel of teachers handed out awards to all of the dogs in attendance. Awards included “Best Leg Hair,” “Most Obedient,” and “Most Energetic.” The awards concluded a fun night filled with fur, families and fun.
