The human shield
When one friend is standing straight as a pole directly blocking the teacher’s field of vision for a buddy, something is probably up. This ploy is an old trick, a student will recruit a friend to “cover” them so that they can accomplish a momentary need to check Instagram to discover who liked their photo. This method is risky because two parties are involved and just because there is a set up to block the phone, doesn’t mean they won’t to get in trouble. Only those with a strong bond dare attempt this as it places complete trust in the person blocking the other.
