Boys hockey advances to Section Semifinals

After tying Holy Family early in the season but beating them at the end of December, the BSM boys hockey team edged by Holy Family 4-3 in the Section 6AA Quarterfinals. The Red Knights got off to a fast start, with juniors Cade Gleekel and Zach Risteau scoring in the first period to go up 2-0 after one. BSM regressed in the second period, as they gave up three Holy Family goals to be down 3-2 after two periods. The Red Knights came back in the third, however, as Gleekel recorded his second goal of the game to knot the game at 3 apiece.  Then, with 90 seconds left, senior captain Chase Jungels scored the go-ahead goal to win the game for the Red Knights, 4-3, and advance them to the Section 6AA Semifinals.
