The BSM girls’ cross country team took first place at the Mankato meet on Tuesday, October 8. Sophomores Mae Fullerton and Amanda Kautzer both placed in the top three, and a total of five BSM runners placed in the top twenty. The girls’ team has placed in the top ten in all the meets they have participated in this season and have placed in the top five in a third of their races. This most recent race was held at the Minneopa Golf course in Mankato. “It was a nice flat course and the team performed very well,” junior Megan Haakonson said.
