As the holding center midfielder on the girls’ soccer team, sophomore Kelly Pannek has become one of the team’s lead scorers in addition to her solid defense. With 12 goals and 2 assists in 13 games, Pannek is having a breakout season. In addition to her strong start this season, Pannek was also a member of the all-conference first team as a sophomore. “My coaches told me I can go forward more than last year, so I have been scoring a lot more,” said Pannek. One of Pannek’s most memorable soccer moments on the team this year was scoring a game-winning goal off a header. “I scored in the last 14 seconds of the game against Totino- Grace to lead my team to victory,” said Pannek.
