Blood On Our Hands — DFA 1979

Logan McMillen

Seven days. If I biked non-stop from Minneapolis to Ketchikan, Alaska it would take seven days total. I’m sitting in a white, damp, box. I’m watching the mold grow on a wall in the basement. I’m waiting seven days for my high school career to end. I’m not biking from anywhere to anywhere because I’m in limbo. This song perfectly emotes angst. DFA 1979’s drum and bass combo, with gritty riffs and tribal beats, melds perfectly with the raw, dry vocals.
