Yacht house is one of the newest, trendy, house spin-off genres. It reminds me of Homework-era Daft Punk, condensed, then bred with the type of music that used to play on 102.9 in the late 90’s. It has a glossy feel, but isn’t flashy, more airy, think of that scene in “Waltz With Bashir” where the soldiers are partying on the boat…I imagine this playing in the background.
